Many automakers require owners to use synthetic motor oil in their car’s engines. This is because synthetic oil has some advantages over conventional motor oil. It is designed to make more effective:

 Resisting break-down, and thus lasting longer than mineral oil
 Withstanding higher temperatures
 Flowing in cold temperatures, thus reducing engine wear during frigid startups

When do I need to change the oil in my car?

 Change your car’s engine oil every 3 months or every 3,000 miles if you are using regular oil.
